Ever wondered how to get into military consulting on film, television, and games? This week, Greg Bishop and Brian Chung share their advice on how veterans can get into this type of consulting and how not to act like an idiot when on the job. Remember, we represent all veterans when we’re out there, so make us proud.
Brian and Greg are the creators of Musa Productions, Musa Military Entertainment Consulting, and the All Warrior Network. Greg Bishop served in the US Army for 21 years. He has served as an officer in 101st Airborne Division and a Combat Aviation Brigade, Public Affairs Officer, and Army liaison to the entertainment industry in Las Angeles. Brian Chung is a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served for 6 years. He is an expert in urban warfare, counter insurgency, Special Weapons and Tactics operations, hand-to-hand combat, and military police actions.
In this episode they also share their thoughts with Justin, Tom, and Trevor about the following:
- How Musa Military Entertainment Consulting began with a focus of helping entertainment industry people deal with different military agencies, something that no other company was doing at the time
- The difficulties of being a company that has no competition, because others need to be taught the value that you can bring to them
- How Musa has used their military training to find the best talent for each particular job, by task organizing and assigning people who’s skills and temperaments are the best fit for a project
- Why building relationships is the best way to stay competitive in a field
- How the All Warrior Network was founded to create content for active duty military, Veterans, and their support community
- Brian and Greg tell us about all of the great content that is available now and what is coming soon to the All Warrior Network
